Maison Spaces

The fantastic views of the Pyrénées and the Aude valley that stretched out to the horizon from this terrace were not reflected when looking in the other direction. This village house in the South of France had a large, under-utilised garden, and a high set 50m2 terrace in need of ideas and some revitalising. I produced a series of concepts and visuals that bought the terrace to life and made the outdoor space more social while keeping costs in check. A much needed pool was also added, set on a mid-level to the garden and terrace, thereby breaking up the spaces into defined zones with distinct purposes.
