Domestic Architectural solutions; Drawings, Concepts & French Planning applications

Bringing clarity and vision to your home project

Since 2016 I have been assisting clients to make the most of their home spaces. Whether you are renovating, remodelling or constructing a new build, I can help you get from fuzzy ideas - or no idea at all - to finished drawings, plans, visualisations and illustrations. Maybe you just want to test a few ideas before starting work. Maybe you need to submit a planning application.
My designs honour the fabric and soul of the building using natural, sympathetic materials that are in tune with the local vernacular. I have hands-on building experience which gives me a practical and logical method to the way I design houses, while also thinking beyond the conventional.

Projects

New builds, renovations, conversions, interiors and exteriors. My array of projects over the last 10 years covers all of these. From concepts through to planning permissions (declaration préable and permit de construire) they are all on show.

Self-Build JOURNAL

Follow my in-depth account of buying a dilapidated French farmhouse/barn, seeking planning permission and the complexities I encountered, and then remodelling it into a family home. I share the design decisions I made - and the reasons for them, and a blow-by-blow account of the build process.

* Let's make this clear here. I am not a qualified architect. I offer myself as an architectural designer, that means I produce ideas, concepts and drawings and plans for my clients. I can legally work on any size project, but my drawings can only be submitted as part of a French planning application, if the building is less than 150m2 (I'm great for most gîte conversions). For projects over 150m2, I work in collaboration with a French qualified Architect.
